A Misunderstood Man

I must admit I really like this intelligent German TV campaign for Epuron. It creatively and poetically promotes wind energy through a dark and intimidating yet misunderstood man whose various actions personify actual wind. I wonder what the actor is up to these days, he reminds me of a young Jaws (Richard Kiel) from James Bond.

The campaign was created by Nordpol+ Hamburg with production company Paranoid and creative/directing collective The Vikings at the helm. It’s no surprise that in 2007 “The Power of Wind” won a Gold Lion for best film advertising spot at the International Advertising Festival in Cannes.
