This is Product Marketing at its absolute best from the marketing team at Audi. The new Audi R8 Super Bowl ad ticks all the boxes; it has it’s product at the centre of the ad, it appeals to a generation who might actually be able to afford the car and it’s something every son would love to do. However most of us might have more chance of actually going to the moon than ever being able to afford this car. Still we can dream I guess.
This ad is both emotionally rich, full of nostalgia and beautifully shot. Nostalgia after-all is lethal. Oh, and it just happens to our favourite David Bowie song “Starman” playing throughout… advertising magic… we’re sold.
